More detail on this person: Grant Curtis passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019 in San Angelo, Texas. Grant was 78 years old and had a long hard battle with Parkinson's disease. Grant and his wife Elizabeth were living in Deming when Grant was diagnosed with the disease. Grant entered the Army on February 26, 1962. He retired as a CW-4 in February, 1984. He was in Flight Class 69-1 (Red Hats). After flight school he went to Cobra Hall for AH-1G transition. He served in Vietnam with B/1/9 Cav, 1Cav. In 1969-70. He was awarded 3 DFC's, plus numerous other awards. He is survived by his wife, 3 children, 3 siblings, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
