More detail on this person: Jack passed away on Tuesday, May 24th at 1501 peacefully and surrounded by his four children, three brothers, and grandchildren. It was heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time. He was diagnosed with Corticobasal Degeneration in November, 2018. It is a rare degenerative brain disease where the brain cells die slowly affecting mobility, speech, and memory. There is no known cause or treatment. It was difficult for everyone who knew him as the active and energetic person he was to shoulder such a prognosis and condition. We are comforted knowing his suffering has ended. A funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, June 7th at 1030 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bellevue, WA followed by a celebration of his life at the Nile Shrine Center in Mountlake Terrace. A formal announcement with detailed information will follow soon. He will be buried in Holyrood Catholic Cemetery, Shoreline, WA
