More detail on this person: Roger L Clenney, 72, beloved husband of Pamela (Beatrice) Clenney died Tuesday December 5th at Mass. General Hospital after a heroic three year battle with cancer. He was surrouded by his devoted family and friends. Born in New Orleans, LA and raised in Revere, MA, he was the son of the late Lovard and Evelyn Clenney. He received his education in Revere, and earned a Master Electrician's license at Coyne Electric in Boston. He was the owner and president of Clenney Electrical Services, Inc. in Medford, MA. A Purple Heart recipient and an Air Medal Army Veteran, he proudly served his country as a Chief Warrant Officer II Aviator in the Vietnam War. He was a life-time member of the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots organization and enjoyed annual reunions with his comrades. Roger enjoyed fishing, the Naples, FL seashore, traveling with his wife and sharing laughs with his family and "unbelievable" friends. In addition to his wife with whom he shared 48 years of marriage, he is survived by his sister Alice Cataldo of Lynnfield and his loving nieces Deborah Lauder of Sandwich and Deanne Healy of Lynnfield. He was predeceased by his brother Robert. Roger is brother-in-law to Michael and Mary Beatrice of Danvers. He is the loving uncle to Michael and Emily Beatrice of Beverly and Lindsay Beatrice of Peabody. His funeral was held at Conte Funeral Home, 17 3rd St.. North Andover on December 13th. Burial was at Ridgewood Cemetary in North Andover. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Disabled Veterans (www.DAV.org) and to the MSPCA (www.MSPCA.org).
