More detail on this person: Thomas Cahill December 24, 2020 Miami, Florida - Thomas D. Cahill, age 76, a Miami native and most recently a 25 year resident of Cudjoe Key, Florida, passed away on December 24, 2020. After graduating from the University of Kentucky where he was a member of the university's varsity tennis team, he was a Lieutenant in the US Army and served as a helicopter pilot. He later returned to Miami and worked for numerous country clubs as a tennis pro. Then, from 1986 until he retired in 2008, he was the Head Tennis Pro at the Harbor Club in Seal Harbor, Maine. He was predeceased by his two brothers, Robert F. Cahill and Lawrence W. Cahill, and his sister, Nancy Cahill O'Connor. He is survived by his five nieces: Elizabeth Cahill Szymanowicz, Cynthia Wilson Cahill, Cathleen Cahill Brown, Sallie Blair Strickroot and Jane Cahill Weir; his nephew, Reid Bennet Cahill; and his partner of 34 years, Rochelle (Raquel) Rosenberg. A Memorial Gathering will take place at a future date.
