More detail on this person: FORT WORTH - Clair Caliman Jr., 61, a postal worker and former soldier, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2000. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 301 W. Sanford in Arlington. Burial: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Clair Caliman Jr. was born in Highland Park, Mich. to Clair and Thelma Caliman Sr. He attended the University of Omaha and later joined the Army where he received numerous medals including the Bronze Star for Valor, Purple Heart and four Overseas Service Bars. After serving his country, he started serving the government by working at the U.S. Postal Service for 20 years. He was a member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church in Arlington, under the pastorage of Rev. N.L. Robinson. Survivors: Wife, Sybil Caliman; mother, Thelma Henson; nine children, Clair G. Caliman III, Billy Hodge, Carie Malvern, Celeste Caliman, Carolyn Caliman, Carin Caliman, Carlin Caliman, Shenetra Criss; and Alondra Criss; and 13 grandchildren. Paradise Funeral Home
