More detail on this person: Curtis S. Crouch Jr. FAYETTEVILLE - Curtis S. Crouch Jr., 78, of Fayetteville died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center. He was born Oct. 14, 1929, in Hennessey, Okla., the son of Curtis Sherman Sr. and Jo Ellen Glover Crouch. He was retired from the U.S. Army. He served in the 936th Field Artillery Battalion during the Korean War and with Company A of the 501st Aviation BN during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the 71st Assault Helicopter Co. Rattlers and Firebird Association, VFW, and served as state commander of the Department of Arkansas American Legion. He served as the Washington County election coordinator. He was also a member of the Springdale-Fayetteville Elks Club, the Washington Masonic Lodge No. 1, RNCIC and the First Christian Church. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Carla and Karen Crouch. He is survived by his wife, Sondra Morelock Crouch; one daughter, Cindy Cozine and her husband Dennis of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Misty and May Monroe; three great-grandchildren, Aaron, Kalin and Kymara. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Son's Chapel in Fayetteville with the Rev. Ryan H. Pfeiffer officiating. Burial will be in Son's Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Moore's Chapel. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church Building Fund, 220 N. College, Fayetteville, Ark.
