More detail on this person: Thomas Matthew Curley, Jr. (71) passed peacefully on the morning of December 27th in the presence of his family. Tom was a loving family man who pursued a life of unique endeavors. He served as a Chief Warrant Officer and helicopter pilot in the US Army. After his military service, he graduated from Rutgers University. Upon graduation, Tom began an interesting professional career that included a wide range of occupations from being a social worker to a hot air balloon pilot. Tom touched many people all over the world with his one of a kind perspective on life, offbeat sense of humor, eccentric taste in music, and his candid and honest commentary. He is survived by his wife Catherine Curley, his children Amanda Young, Carolyn Carlin and her husband John Carlin, and Thomas Cavanagh, his loving Grandchildren Chase, Kaitlyn, and Lauren, his mother Amelia Curley, his sisters Kathleen Brooks (husband Larry), and Nancy Androvich (husband John). He was preceded in death by his father Thomas Curley, Sr., and brother Robert Curley. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Tom's name to either the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation (www.chriskylefrogfoundation.org) this foundation was close to Tom's heart, or to Hospice of Texarkana (www.hospiceoftexarkana.org).
