More detail on this person: William M. Causley, Vietnam veteran William Michael (Mike) Causley, 60, formerly of Amherst, died Saturday, July 31, 2010, at the Durham VA Medical Center. Mr. Causley was born Sept. 22, 1949, in Buffalo. He served as a Warrant Officer helicopter pilot during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Debra; sons, Andrew and Russell; daughters, Rebecca Causley Uhlenberg and Emily Causley; mother, Rosemond Ammerman Causley; brother, Peter; and sister, Marilyn Causley McLoughlin. He was preceded in death by his father, William. Services were held Thursday, Aug. 5, at Bright Funeral Home in North Carolina. Memorials may be made to The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, 2600 Virginia Ave. NW, Suite 104, Washington, DC 20037.
