More detail on this person: Daniel William Cleary, III, 64, husband of Dana Cleary, passed away at home on February 12, 2007. Mr. Cleary was born in Portsmouth, N.H., a son of Daniel William Cleary, II and the late Marjorie MacDonald Cleary. He was a communicant of Holy Cross Episcopal Church, Simpsonville, and served in the U.S. Army as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam. Surviving, in addition to his wife, Dana, who teaches at Hillcrest High School, are six children, Scot Cleary, Sean Cleary, Daniel Cleary, Colleen Cleary Yarnot, John Paul Cleary, and Katherine Cleary; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; three brothers and one sister, Jay Cleary, Linda Cleary O'Donnell, Mary Cleary, and Phillip Cleary. The memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 14, at Holy Cross Episcopal Church.
