More detail on this person: Paul Lydiard Cotter Sr. AL United States Cotter Paul Lydiard Cotter, Sr., age 77, a native of Virginia, and a resident of Orange Beach, AL, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013. He went into the U.S. Army in 1957 after graduating from UVA serving 2 combat tours in Vietnam with the 101 First Airborne. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Silver Star and two Bronze Stars. After retiring from the Army in 1984, he relocated to Arizona where he and his wife Becky started 'Cottori Manx' where they were greatly involved with their breeding and showing of the Manx cat line. Following the death of his wife in 2001, Paul relocated to Orange Beach, AL. Paul is survived by a son, Paul L. Cotter, Jr. of Fairhope, AL, a daughter, Christine L. Cotter of Phoenix, AZ; five grandchildren: Paul Christian Cotter, Anna Laura Cotter, Amanda Fishkind, Matthew Fishkind and Alexandra Fishkind. He was a loving and generous man and will be dearly missed. A Celebration of Life service was be held from the Chapel at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope, AL, Thursday, May 16, 2013. Funeral services will be held in Arizona at a later date.
