More detail on this person: There was a LTC George Cadmus commanding the 224th Aviation Battalion (RR) at Saigon when I arrived there July 1967. I later heard second-hand, that he had died of natural causes a short time after returning to CONUS perhaps at either Fort Campbell or Fort Knox KY. I knew Colonel Cadmus to be a fixed-wing pilot and the 224th was a FW unit but that does not preclude his having been RW qualified. I also do not know whether he had served an earlier tour in Vietnam at the time I met him.

Perhaps that information might help in gathering more information about him.

From: Chuck Ross

Burial information: Arlington National Cem, Arlington, VA
