More detail on this person: John Edward Cawley, Jr., age 64, of Goodview, died Wednesday, December 20, 2006. Mr. Cawley was a graduate of V.M.I. and later served as a Captain in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was a retired civil engineer with the U.S. Government. Surviving are his wife, Charlotte Miller Cawley; son, John Cawley, III; and a daughter, Dori Virginia Cawley; one brother, Richard Cawley of New York. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to Manna Ministries, P.O. Box 322, Vinton, Va 24179. Services will be private. Arrangements by Oakeys Vinton Chapel & Crematory (982-2221).
