More detail on this person: Arthur Jay Chapman Paris News, The (TX) - Tuesday, August 19, 2008 CLARKSVILLE - Arthur Jay Chapman, 71 of Fort Worth and formerly of Red River County, passed away Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, in a Fort Worth hospital. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, in Madras Cemetery with the Rev. Lew Stokes officiating. Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Visitation is scheduled from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. He was born Sept. 11, 1936, in Red River County, to Arthur and Jo Bledsoe Chapman. He was retired from the Lockhead Company, served in the United States Marines and was of the Presbyterian Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Jo Bledsoe Chapman; wife, Martha Chapman; son, Jay Chapman. Survivors include a host of family and friends and his best friend, Buster Boo.
