More detail on this person: Francis W. Charette Francis W. Charette, 60, of Forge Road, manager of the controls department of the former Foster Parents Plan Inc. of Warwick, now Plan International U.S.A., for 15 years until retiring in 1988, died Wednesday at Kent County Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Mary M. (Borelli) Charette. Mr. Charette served in the Navy for 21 years before retiring in 1972 as a lieutenant commander. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was a son of Alice (Crann) Charette of Lindenhurst, Long Island, N.Y., and the late Frank Charette. He lived in East Greenwich for 20 years. Besides his wife and mother, he leaves a brother, Ronald Charette of Keller, Texas, and two sisters, Phyllis Charette and Karen Valentino, both of Lindenhurst, N.Y. The funeral will be tomorrow at 11:15 a.m. from Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:15 p.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Fourth Avenue. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery.
