More detail on this person: Major Cleveland is one of eight lost when their Sikorsky HH-3F Pelican (1474) disappeared in the Gulf of Mexico after having rescued four "fishermen" from the distressed boat, Miss Wanda Dene. Major Cleveland, USAF exchange pilot, was flying with: Lt. Cmdr. Paul R. Lewis ADI Edward J. Nemetz AT3 Clinton A. Edwards They had just reported rescuing: James Teachey Herb Hardy Will Peek III George Dayhoff Major Cleveland is represented on the Remembrance Rug by symbol #6568.
