(AP) - Authorities say engine failure was the cause of an Aug. 9 helicopter crash that claimed the life of an Albany, Ore. pilot on a forest firefighting mission in the Okanagan National Forest of north-central Washington. "We do not know why the engine failed," said Tom Bohannan, crash investigation team leader and helicopter specialist for the U.S. Forest Service in Missoula, Mont. Killed in the crash was Joe Coke, 39, pilot of the Alouette III helicopter for Mt. Air Helicopters of Albany.
