More detail on this person: George retired from the Army on 30 June 77. He had some terminal leave and departed Ft. Campbell a few days before he died. He died on the road to California from a heart attack. Never even got that first retirement check. He was a Sim Instructor and Instrument Examiner in the 101st when he retired.
