More detail on this person: David Michael Or Mike Cope, 62 OBITUARIES Fort Worth Star-Telegram (TX) - Tuesday, August 9, 2011 PONDER - David Michael "Mike" Cope, 62, passed away Friday, Aug. 5, 2011. Celebration of life: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville. Interment: Mike will be laid to rest in the Garden of Faith in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park with military honors. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mike was born Nov. 12, 1948, to John Harrison Cope and Marcille Hague Cope in Dalhart. He was a retired United States Air Force colonel and also retired after many years of service with American Airlines. Mike was a loving father and friend to many. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him. He was preceded in death by his father and his sister, Debbie Cope Birch. Survivors: Wife of 30 years, Marilyn Cope; mother, Marcille Cope; daughters, Lisa Michelle and Jessica Faith Cope; son, Brian Michael Harvey; sisters, Nancy Sharpe Lowe, Darlene Austin, Denise Booher and husband, Joe; several nieces and nephews; and his constant loving canine companions, Willie and Pearl.
