More detail on this person: Michael Earl Crawford Michael Earl Crawford of Jenks, died Tuesday in Grants, N.M. He was 57. Crawford was born on June 6, 1942, in Borger, Texas, to Cecil Clem and Birdine Bernice (Bennett) Crawford. He graduated from Spearman (Texas) High School and West Texas State University in Canyon with a degree in geology. He married Colleen Marler on Aug. 15, 1992, in Shawnee. Crawford served with the U.S. Army 7th Air Cavalry in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot. He was also a Shriner and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He had worked as a hydrogeologist with Sequoyah Engineering in Oklahoma City. Crawford was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Birdine Crawford; and a brother, Russell Mac Crawford. Survivors include his wife, Colleen Crawford, of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Shaun and Amanda Crawford , McLean, Texas; Mark and Shalah Crawford, Houston, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Denise and David Duncan, Shawnee; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Donna Deupree, Phoenix, Ariz.; Marylin and John Gragg, Arlington, Texas; Cathy and Sonny Herring, Denver, Colo.; a sister-in-law, Cheryl Cranford, Austin, Texas; and four grandchildren, Zachary, Emory, Caleb and Sharla. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Resthaven Funeral Home. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park.
