(AP) - Authorities searched off northwest Florida's Gulf of Mexico coast Monday for a 37 year-old dentist missing after a weekend outing. An empty 17-foot motorboat owned by Dr. William G. Callis Jr. of Moultrie, Ga., washed ashore here Sunday, one day after he launched the vessel from a small dock, said Coast Guard Petty Officer Chris Leighty of the Mobile, Ala. station. A Coast Guard helicopter and a boat from the Florida Marine Patrol's Carabelle office searched an area near the island for the dentist, Ms. Leighty said.
