More detail on this person: SIMPSONVILLE -- Jackie Herman Clark Sr., 52, of 10 E. Fairgate Court died Sept. 2, 1999. He was son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Susan Hollifield Clark. He was retired from General Electric Apparatus Shop and was of the Protestant faith. He served in the Army as a drill sergeant and a helicopter pilot. Surviving are his wife, Fay Garron Clark; four sons, Jackie H. Clark Jr. of Pelzer, Philip A. Clark of the home, Robert C. Grigsby of Simpsonville and A. Scott Grigsby of Easley; a daughter, Susie D. Grigsby of the home; an adopted daughter, Susie Kitts of Simpsonville; three sisters, Judy Roberts of Fountain Inn, Joleen McCrary of Greenville and Rita Holbrooks of Piedmont; four brothers, Ray Clark of Cayce, Carl Clark of Anderson, J.D. Clark of Yuba, Calif., and Jerry Clark of Greenville; and five grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Cannon Funeral Home Jones Chapel in Simpsonville. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Reedy Fork Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Van Pigate. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home. Memorials may be made to Greenville Hospital System Hospice, 701 Grove Road, Greenville, 29605; or to the American Heart Association, 301 University Ridge, Suite 5000, Greenville, 29601.
