More detail on this person: Mr Lawrence Parker Cook, 48 of Franklin, Massachusetts OBITUARIES Fort Worth Star-Telegram (TX) - Tuesday, July 16, 1996 FRANKLIN, Mass. - Lawrence Parker Cook, 48, a senior manager, died July 9 in Franklin, Mass. Memorial service: 4 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Funeral Home in Fort Worth and 4 p.m. Friday at St. John's Episcopal Church, 237 Pleasant St., Franklin, Mass. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Lawrence Parker Cook was born Dec. 11, 1947, in Abilene. He was the son of the late Benjamin Parker Cook II and Thelma S. Suber Cook. He lived in Texas for most of his life until moving to Franklin in 1995. Educated in Texas, Mr. Cook held a senior management position with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation at its facility in Franklin. During the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Army. He attained the rank of captain and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Army Aviator Badge, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Air Medal, the Bronze Star and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. Survivors: Sons, Stephen N. Cook of Portland, Ore., and Benjamin P. Cook of Las Vegas; daughter, Christine Cook of San Diego, Calif.; brother, Alfred P. Cook of Irving; and sister, Sarah Bess Cook of Wichita Falls.
