More detail on this person: DONALD ANDREW COUVILLION DONALD ANDREW COUVILLION, 56, of Medford Lakes, died Friday at Memorial Hospital of Burlington County in Mount Holly. Mr. Couvillion was a highly decorated Vietnam War veteran who retired from a 20-year career in the Army as a lieutenant colonel in 1981. While serving two tours of duty in Vietnam, he received the Distinguished Flying Cross, two Bronze Stars, the Air Medal with 10 Oakleaf Clusters, and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry. He also received the Senior Parachutist Badge and the Senior Aviator Badge. He had served as a rotary wing pilot, a paratrooper and an Airborne Ranger. A 1961 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., he received a master's degree in 1972 from the University of California in Berkeley, and attended the Command and General Staff College. After his military career, Mr. Couvillion was a regional manager for AIL Systems Inc. in Deer Park, N.Y., and then was president and chief operating officer for Cindy Enterprises in California. He was born in Baton Rouge, La. Survivors: his wife, Janet Warner Couvillion; a son, Collin of New York City; a daughter, Caprice LeMire of Gulph Mills, Pa.; two grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth of Stockton, Calif., and Roger of Blythe, Calif.; and a sister, Lee Schweikert of Phoenix. Services: viewing, 6:30 p.m. today, Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly; funeral, 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home; burial, 1:30 p.m. tomorrow, U.S. Military Academy Cemetery, West Point, N.Y.
