He was 52, a native of Carmi, Ill., and a resident of Bueche. He was a mud logger geologist and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Visiting was held at Niland's Funeral Home, New Roads. 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesday. Visiting at the funeral home 8 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Religious services at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lakeland, at 10 a.m Wednesday, conducted by Father Matt Lorraine. Interment in Chenal Cemetery. Survivedby wife, Naomi Kimbro Crane; two daughters, Cynthia K. Crane, Reeves, and Katherine Ann Crane, Bueche; two sons, Victor Lawrence Crane Jr., Patterson, and Jonathan Heath Crane, Bueche; two sisters, Vera Louise Terrell, Crossville, Ill., and Ruth Ann Crane, Illinois; four brothers, Michael, Robert and Charles Crane, all of Illinois, and Max Crane, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews; and four grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Jennevia Crane.
