More detail on this person: Victor "Tom" Deese, a beloved son, brother, husband, dad, and Papa, passed away on April 4, 2023, at the age of 75. Tom was a Chief Warrant Officer in the Army and served his country in the Vietnam War as a helicopter pilot. After his service, he worked at the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station for 30 years. Tom had a passion for tinkering and was a jack of all trades. He could fix anything and everything and was always happy to lend a helping hand. He had a contagious smile and chuckle that could brighten up anyone's day. Tom was a provider and had a servant heart, always putting others before himself. He had a simple and laid-back style and could often be found in a pocket t-shirt. But, if he wanted to be fancy, he would whip out one of his colorful Hawaiian shirts. Tom was witty and had a great sense of humor that made him a joy to be around. Tom is survived by his wife of 31 years, Abby, with whom he shared many happy memories with. He leaves behind four children, Wendi (Jeremy) Williams, Christy Womack, Dennis (Lora) Newton and Jennifer Deese; eight grandchildren, Kathrin (Ethan), Kaylee, Cade (Addison), Baker, Sawyer, Christian, Kayden and Piper; two great-grandchildren, Dawson and Karsyn; six siblings, Howard (Aileen) Deese, Ronald Deese, Steve (Teri) Deese, Janet (Robert) Donahue, Chris Deese and Bill Deese. He was preceded in death by his parents Victor and Edith Deese. Tom will be dearly missed by his family and friends, but his legacy will live on in the memories of those who knew and loved him.
