More detail on this person: James Robert Duer, 68, of Hot Springs Village, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016. He was born to the late Cliff and Rita Duer in Camden, New Jersey, on January 2, 1948. It was with a great sense of duty he joined the United States Army, proudly serving as a helicopter pilot during two tours in the Vietnam War, where he received the Purple Heart for actions.
