More detail on this person: William (Bill) H. Durand III Died Aug 30, 2017 in Baylor Hospital after a 3 week fight with Sepsis.  Bill graduated flight school in class 70-1, 69-49.  From  April 12, 1970 to April 11, 1971 he served with the173rd AHC , call sign Robinhood 28.  After is RVN tour he became an Instructor at Fort Rucker.  While there he completed his college degree and  Army fixed wing Q course.  He had assignments in Korea, Ft. Meade Maryland, Izmir  Turkey, and Fort Huachuca Arizona, where he retired after 20 years service.  His civilian career included mostly fixed wing jobs with the State of South Carolina, MBNA bank, and a Falcon Instructor at CAE, DFW airport.  Bill retired from flying with 40456 accident free flight hours.
