More detail on this person: Ronald P. Dale, Colonel Ret. US Army, of North Kingstown, age 77, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024. He was born in East Providence and is the son of the late, Paul and Phyllis (Rogers) Dale. Ronald was the beloved husband of 28 years to his high school sweetheart, the late, Ginger A. (Ferri) Dale. He then remarried, to the late, Carol Dale. Ron is a highly decorated, retired Army Colonel. He served 30 years of active duty as a fighter pilot, served 4 terms in Vietnam where he received 2 purple hearts, the Bronze Star and has received many other commendations throughout his military career. He was battalion commander of the famed 101st airborne division. After he retired from the military with full honors - he became a high level civilian contractor to Hughes aircraft and Goodrich missile guidance systems. In short- he is a consummate patriot who dedicated his entire working life to our country. He leaves behind a daughter, Lisa-Jean (Dale) Clifford and a son, Ronald Dale, Jr. His son-in-law, Michael Garver his daughter-in-law, Melissa Arnold; his two very loved grand- daughters, Madison and Michaela Clifford; his two step grandsons, Daniel and William Garver and his sister, Paula Church who resides in Florida. A Funeral Service will be on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. in the Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Rd., North Kingstown followed by military honors at the RI Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. Visiting Hours will be Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his honor to the Veteran's charity, Tunnel To Towers Found-ation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306, www.dogood.t2t.org.
