More detail on this person: Gino Ray Del Carlo passed on October 6, 2007. He was born in Virginia
City on March 23, 1946. He graduated from Virginia City Schools and the University of Nevada. He was
a captain in the United States Army and flew helicopters in Vietnam. He received two bronze stars
and two purple hearts. Gino led a full and active life, belonged to several organizations throughout
the years and was active in participating in helping the community. He was in Nevada banking for 35
years. Gino had planned to retire from Great Basin Federal Credit Union where he was CEO for the
last 13 years. He loved and was loved by all of his friends and colleagues. This information was last updated 05/18/2016

Gino's greatest joys were to travel with his best friend and loving wife Sara, spending time with
his beautiful daughter and energetic grandson, and hiking and fly fishing in the Sierra's with his
son.
He is survived by his wife Sara, son Gino Joseph and his wife Nicole, daughter Elizabeth and
grandson Leo Lucca. He also has seven brothers, several nieces and nephews and his mother Lora.
