More detail on this person: Norman John Dzingleski, age 80, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on
August 28th, 2013, at St. Lukes Hospital, Maumee, Ohio. He was born on September 4th, 1932, to
Mary Jankowiak and Adam Dzingleski in Toledo, Ohio. He graduated Macomber High School and joined
the Army after graduation. Norm attended Army flight school and was commissioned as a 2nd Lt. He
served tours in Korea and Vietnam, where he was awarded numerous decorations, including the
Distinguished Flying Cross for "Heroism and extraordinary achievement while participating in an
aerial flight." Norman continued his interest in aviation and was active in the Vietnam Helicopter
Pilots Association and the Experimental Aircraft Association.
Norman was predeceased by siblings, Adam, Bob, Gloria, Florence and Bernice. He leaves behind
daughter, Cynthia (Paul) de St. Victor; son, Michael (Rosanne) Dzingleski; Lea (Ryan) Russell;
grandchildren, Colin de St. Victor, Coryden, Chad, Chase, and Michael II Dzingleski, Aaralyn
Russell, along with sisters, Carolyn Alberts, Nancy, and Rosalie Dzingleski, many nieces and
nephews, and special friend Barb Schwieterman.
Inurnment of cremated remains will be at the Columbarium Wall, Arlington National Cemetery.
