More detail on this person: Michael F. Delaurenti, 69, passed away at his home in Issaquah on October 21, 2012 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born September 6, 1943 in Renton, Wa. to Peter and Mary Delaurenti. Mike retired a Major in the US Army and received the purple heart during 2 tours in Viet Nam as helicopter pilot. He also ran a successful Property Management company for the last 30 years. Mike was loved dearly by his family and friends. He was always a straight shooter and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his 3 children, Linda (Loren) Orndorff, Mike (Jill) Delaurenti, Kirk Delaurenti and four grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Ginger Jensen and brother Peter Delaurenti. Internment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery.In lieu of flowers donations can be made to
