More detail on this person: Raymond A. Delahanty Jr. Raymond A. Delahanty Jr., Lt. Col. U.S. Army (Ret.), of Yardley died peacefully Thursday, April 19, 2012, at St. Mary Medical Center. He was 83. Born in Boston, Mass., he was the son of the late Raymond A. Sr. and Loretta Gorman Delahanty. Lt. Col. Raymond A. Delahanty had faithfully served his country during both war and peace time. He was a proud veteran of the Korean War and also the Vietnam War. Since his retirement from the armed forces, Ray always strived and succeeded in furthering his education. He was a loving father who worked tirelessly for many years as an attorney for General Electric and Lockheed Martin. He is survived by his beloved partner of many years, Delcie; and by his two loving children, Claire Elizabeth Delahanty of Alexandria, Va., and Michael R. Delahanty and his wife, Dawn, of Chesapeake Beach, Md.; his brother, Paul Delahanty, and his sister, Loretta Lussier Spatafore. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 6 p.m. until his funeral service at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 27, at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road) Richboro. Interment with full Military Honors will be conducted at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to The American Diabetes Association, Greater Philadelphia & Southeastern NJ, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, or to The American Heart Association, 5455 N. High Street, Columbus, OH 43214.
