More detail on this person: Thomas Allen DiCresce Thomas Allen DiCresce, 52 years, of Maumee, Ohio, a beloved husband, father and devoted grandfather, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 22, 2000. Mr. DiCresce was a former area resident who served 18 years as a pilot for the U.S. Army, serving two tours of duty in Vietnam. He had lived in the Toledo-Maumee area for the past 10 years, and was a currently a helicopter pilot with the McMahon Helicopter service in Canton, Mich., and formerly flew for St. Vincent's and the Toledo Hospital Air Ambulance Service. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy DiCresce. Surviving are his wife, Georgianna; daughters, Dawn and Tiffany; and son, Thomas DiCresce II; grandchildren, Vincent and Tyler; father and stepmohter, Adolph and Betty DiCresce; sisters, Elizabeth (Fred) Schordock, Francy (Eric) Gabor; brothers, Edward (Dee Dee) Dicresce, Terry (Iris) DiCresce, all of Akron; and brother, Charles (Elaine) DiCresce of Apple Valley, Minn. He was the son-in-law of Wilmoth and Sue Dukes and brother-in-law of Carol (Chet) Vandergrift, and is also survived by nieces and nephews. Calling hours Sunday, 3 to 7 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley, Ciriello & Carr Fairlawn Chapel, 39 S. Miller Rd., where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday.
