More detail on this person: Warren DAVIS Warren Crawford Davis, Lieutenant Colonel United States Army (Ret'd), died Sunday, August 20, 2006, at home on Hilton Head Island. His wife of 54 years, Joan Trowell Davis, daughters Kara Crawford Davis Beust and Debra Joan Davis, and granddaughter Krysten Cleland Beust (KC), were with him at the time of his death. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Kody Mason Beust, and a son-in-law, Steven Edward Beust. Col. Davis was born December 1, 1929, in Scotia, South Carolina, to Mary Olivett and William Jesse Davis. He is a graduate of Kentucky Military Institute and Clemson University. During his twenty-two years of service in the U.S. Army he became a highly decorated soldier, Master Aviator and Acclaimed Military leader. After retirement from Military service, Col. Davis became a regional Vice President of LendLease, a division of National Car.
