More detail on this person: ROBERT FRANCIS DAAS June 22, 1931-Feb. 15, 2006 Robert Francis Daas, 74, of San Marcos died Feb. 15. He was born in Milwaukee and was a retired Marine Corps major. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a member of the Goldwing Roadriders Association and the Oceanwavers Square Dance Club. Survivors include his companion, Florence Jordan; sons, William Thompson of Richmond, Va., Joseph Daas of Stafford, Va., Robert Daas of Jacksonville, Fla., Steven Daas of Marina and Reilly Daas of Newport, N.C.; sisters, Mary Stokes and Teresa Wissing of Menominee, Wis., and Cecelia Hess of New Mexico; brother, Joseph Daas of Milwaukee; and 12 grandchildren. Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday, graveside, Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Point Loma. Inurnment: with military honors, Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. Donations: Pius XI High School, 135 N. 76th St., Milwaukee, WI 53213.
