More detail on this person: DAVITT, ANTHONY MICHAEL Died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 1983. He was 40, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Des Moines, Iowa. He was the proprietor of the Costume Shop. He was a veteran and a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps. Memorial Mass at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Jeff Bayhi. Survived by his wife, Deborah Devitt; two sons, John Tyler Devitt and David Daniel Devitt; a daughter, Piper Elizabeth Devitt, all of Baton Rouge; and other relatives in Des Moines. He received a master's degree in business administration and was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mental Health Association of Baton Rouge.
