Dearth, 74, of Cambridge, who went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday (May 23, 2006) at Southeastern Med.Pastors Dennis Rost and Kenneth Pugh will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today (Thursday) at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville.He was born Sept. 28, 1931, in Lower Salem, son of the late Winford G. and Ada (McCune) Dearth.Mr. Dearth retired from professional plumbing after 40 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Korean War.He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, his church family and was a wonderful family man.He was preceded in death by a sister, Crystal Hoge; and an infant brother.He leaves his wife, Evelyn M. (Bailey) Dearth, whom he married Oct. 10, 1959; two sons, Dave (Tammy) Dearth of Cambridge and Tim (Sherry) Dearth of Norwich; a daughter, Debbie (David) Bywater of Fennville, Mich.; a brother, Glen (Marie) Dearth of Glenburnie, Md.; a sister, Vera Fry of Kingman, Ariz.; six grandchildren, Brad and Jessi Dearth of Norwich, Kara and Amanda Dearth of Cambridge and Erin and Austin Bywater of Fennville, Mich.
