He was the son of Inis DeWalt and the late Curtis DeWalt; brother of Beth and Paul DeWalt and the late Robert DeWalt; uncle of Zachary, Sarah and Jacob DeWalt; and godfather of Michael Crum. John was an attorney and worked as a law clerk for various judges in Pennsylvania. There will be no visitation. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at WOLFE MEMORIAL INC., Forest Hills Chapel, 3604 Greensburg Pike, 412-731-5021. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank or Forbes Road Nursing and Rehab Center.
