DONALDSON, 304 Gonzales Place, Lady Lake, died Wednesday, March 21. He was a retired Marine Corps lieutenant colonel. Born in Detroit, he moved to Central Florida in 1993. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Lady Lake. He was a member of the Retired Military Club, the Hangar Fliers Club, the German Club, the Michigan Club, all in The Villages of Lady Lake, and the Disabled American Veterans, Lady Lake, and he served as treasurer for the Veterans of Foreign Wars, also in Lady Lake. He was a veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War. Survivors: wife, Judith L. Donaldson; sons, Joseph Donaldson Jr., Japan, James R. Donaldson, Anchorage, Alaska; daughters, Judith Jordan, Anchorage, Janeen Robin Donaldson, San Diego; sister, Muriel Morrison, Detroit; brother, Edwin Donaldson, Lady Lake; four granddaughters. Beyers Funeral Home, Lady Lake.
