More detail on this person: DRESSER, DAVID OWEN Died Friday, May 31, 1991, at his residence in Rye, N.Y. He was 42, a native of Baton Rouge. He was executive director for Dewey Ballentine in New York City and a former U.S. Marine Corps helicopter pilot. Visiting at First United Methodist Church, 9 a.m. Friday until religious services at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Chris Andrews. Burial in Roselawn Memorial Park. Survived by mother, Harriet Smith Dresser, Clemson, S.C.; wife, Suzanne L. Dresser, Jacksonville, Fla.; two sons, David OwenDresser II, Jacksonville, and Sean Aaron Dresser, Woodstock, Ga.; two sisters, Toni Gilboy, Baton Rouge, and Karen Scheaffer-Murphy, Evergreen, Colo.; a nephew, Bill Courtney, Denham Springs; three nieces, Erin Courtney Hall, Zachary, Kristin Scheaffer and Brook Murphy, both of Evergreen; numerous grandnieces, grandnephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by father, Dr. Henry Owen Dresser. He was a graduate of LSU. Memorial donations may be made to United Way. Welsh Funeral Home in chargeof arrangements.
