Dullaghan was born in New York City. He served during the Korean Conflict and was a Vietnam veteran. He retired from COMNAVAIRLANT, NAS Norfolk. Maj. Dullaghan worked for Grumman Aerospace in Bethpage, N.Y.; GAI in Chesapeake as the regional manager; and M&T Co. in Virginia Beach as assistant manager. In 1993, he retired to live in Church Hill, County Donegal, Ireland. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Maureen Dullaghan; daughters, Kathleen Cross of Lafayette, La., Mary Rose Collins of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ellen Zarchy of Mineola, N.Y.; sons, Edward M. Dullaghan of Suffolk, Sean P. Dullaghan of Snellville, Ga., and Brian F. Dullaghan of Hampstead, N.C. Also surviving are a brother, Edward M. Dullaghan of Chesapeake; 10 grandchildren; four nieces; and three nephews. Visitation will be held at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today and Sunday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Matthews Catholic Church by Father Timothy Drake at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery at 9 a.m. April 18. A wake service will be held at the funeral home at 7 p.m. Sunday.
