More detail on this person: DAANE, JOHN HOWARD DAANE, JOHN HOWARD, 55, of Valrico, died Wednesday (April 19, 2000) at home. Born in Whitewater, Wis., he came to the area in 1986 from Heidelberg, Germany. He was an infantry officer for the U.S. government and a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army. He worked for Home Depot for eight years. He was a member of Nativity Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Gail; a son, Christopher, Bend, Ore.; two daughters, Elizabeth Cadena, Houston, and Cheryl Tate, Brandon; his mother, Katherine,Spartanburg, S.C.; two sisters, Jana Sindlinger, York, Pa., and Diane Daane, Spartanburg; and six grandchildren. Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon.
