More detail on this person: Gary L. Davis Gary L. Davis, 60, of Olney, died at 12:01 a.m. today, May 20, 1998 at his residence. Memorial services with full military rites will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. There will be no visitation. Cremation will follow services. Davis was born March 4, 1938, in Jasper County, the son of Millard and Darlene (Byrne) Davis. He married Deanna Austin Dec. 11, 1996. He was a retired U.S. Army Viet Nam veteran who served two tours and flew 1,500 combat hours. He is survived by his wife, of Olney; one son, Gary Brian Davis, of Olney; one daughter, Kenna Davis Quinet, of Carmel, Ind.; one sister, Pat Prosser, of Noble; and two grandchildren, Brian Davis and Brianna Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Van Davis.
