He was a retired Army helicopter pilot and a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a postal carrier for 19 years and a member of the Retired Officers Association. He was a Baptist and a member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 25, Sulphur Springs, and the National Letter Carriers Association, Tony Huerta Branch 599. Survivors include his wi fe, Barbara A.; two sons, Timothy, Tampa, and Glynn, Riverside, Calif.; three daughters, Kathy Driggers, Tampa, Sherrie Moyers, Chandler, Ariz., and Sonia Morris, Brea, Calif.; two sisters, Gwinette Clifton, Claxton, Ga., and Vera Salters, Bloomingdale, Ga.; and four grandchildren.
