More detail on this person: Edwards, Ruble R., CW3 (Ret.); Flight Class 59-3; Korea 1950-51; RVN: 1966-67; ARCOM; AMNM; BSM Ruble "Ed" Edwards passed away in June 24th, 2018. Born in Paducah, KY, he enlisted in the Army in 1948. His 20-year career included service with the GHQ Raiders in Korea during 1950-51 and in later years as a Warrant Officer aviator, most notably as a Chinook pilot in Vietnam during 1966-67. Ed's second career in hospital administration lasted 28 years. In retirement, he and his wife Mary relocated to Las Vegas, NV where he enjoyed living until his death. Ed was preceded in death by his first wife Catherine, the mother of his children, and by a daughter and a son. He is survived by his wife Mary, two children and two grandchildren and their respective spouses, and three great grandchildren.
