More detail on this person: Elvis Jack Evans Mr. Evans was a native of Houston, Texas and resided in Crowley after his retirement from the Valero Houston Refinery where he worked as an electrical supervisor for 45 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served as a Helicopter Pilot, Warrant Officer 3. He had a love for traveling and his gentleman qualities will be cherished by all who knew him. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 30 years, Shirlene Henry Evans; three sons, Steve Evans and his wife Gayle, Robert Evans, and Alan Evans; one daughter, Janet McConnell and her husband Joe; one sister, Blanche Russell; four stepchildren, Cynthia Beard; Cathy Morgan and her husband Mark; Jackie Broussard and her husband Walter, and Cedric Broussard; eight grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren and 15 step-great grandchildren.
