His service awards were Bronze Star, Air Medal with numerals 41, Good Conduct Medal, Army Aviator Badge, National Defense Medal, Valorens Unit Award, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm and Vietnam Civil Actions Honor Medal 1st class Service awards, Bronze Star AMOLC-GCM VSM Instructor for Chinooks and Cobra Helicopters. Mr. Earle's accomplishments were in his early 70s. He won several trophies for Motor Cross, Helicopter School top 10 percent of his class, 1962 Go-Cart Champion of San Jauquin Co. Cal., 1999 Co-Driver of the year, 2000 runner-up Pro Eliminator Driver, 1999 World Champion Pro-Eliminator Driver. His hobbies were motorcycle racing, car racing, boat racing and he started flying at 16 years of age from planes to helicopters. Military Service 12 1/2 years helicopter pilot in Vietnam, Korea W.O 2 in Vietnam flying time 5,000+ in Vietnam. He worked for ERA at PHI and Air Log. He was also a club member of the Sundbean Tiger Automotive Club, Fort Hood Dirt Rides, IHBA and VFW. Visitation will begin Monday, 3:00 P.M., with a Prayer Service to be held Monday, 7:00 P.M. at the Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. Procession will depart Tuesday, 9:45 A.M. for a 10:00 A.M. Graveside Service at San Fernando Cemetery No. 2 under the direction of Trevino Cupples Funeral Home.
