More detail on this person: Armond "Ed" Edwards FORT WORTH - Armond "Ed" Edwards, 73, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007, at home. Ed retired as a chief warrant officer in the U.S. Army after 20 years, which included a tour in Korea and two tours in Vietnam as a fixed-wing and helicopter pilot. He retired from the National Transportation Safety Board, where he was an air safety investigator and served as chief of the Fort Worth office. Survivors: Wife, Janelle Edwards; children, Janet Spitler, Jan Paul Edwards and Karen Kim Windsor; seven grandchildren; siblings, Nellie Edwards, Rometa Seal, Gail McKay and Odell Edwards, all of Kansas, and Dave Edwards of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
