More detail on this person: Mr Lee Duncan Ellis Jr, 64 MR. LEE ELLIS JR. Augusta Chronicle, The (GA) - Monday, December 18, 1995 Mr. Lee Duncan Ellis Jr., 64, died Tuesday, December 12, 1995. Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at George Funeral Home, Park Avenue, Aiken, with the Rev. Fred Andrea III officiating. Burial will be in Lower Three Run Cemetery, Martin, S.C. A native of Charleston, S.C., Mr. Ellis was a former resident of Aiken County. He was a retired lieutenant colonel in the Army and a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He attended Duke University and Clemson University. He retired from Catalytic of Raytheon Corp., was a Master Mason of Aiken Lodge No. 256, lifetime member of the American Legion, a member of the North American Hunting Club and Fishing Club, the Sport Aviation Association, Rotorcraft Association, National Rifle Association, Ducks Unlimited, Delware City Lions Club, the National Republican Congressional Committee and a life member of the Retired Officers Association. Survivors include his wife, Paula B. Ellis; his mother, Martha Caroline Ellis, West Columbia, S.C.; a son, L. Paul Booth, Boonton; three daughters, Marti Gwin, Clatskanie, Ore., Laura Ellis, Salt Lake City, and Lani Crouch, Sandy, Utah; two brothers, Howard Ellis, Bluffton, S.C., and Richard Ellis, Spring Hope, N.C.; and three grandchildren.
