Foote, 57, will be at 1 p.m. today at the Evergreen Cemetery in Priest River, Idaho. Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home of Newport, Wash., is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Foote, who was born in Bremerton, died Saturday. He was a former longtime resident of Spokane. He moved to Stanwood a few months ago. He moved with his parents to Newport, Wash., as an infant. He graduated from Priest River High School in 1963 and then joined the Army. He served as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam. He was awarded the Purple Heart. Mr. Foote later graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in business administration. He married Naomi Isbelle in Spokane in 1972, and they lived in Beaverton, Ore. He worked at the First National Bank in Portland. He moved to Spokane in 1974 and worked for the Old National Bank for many years. He began working in real estate in 1989. He moved to Yakima in 1992, where he worked at the Pioneer Bank. Mr. Foote earned a degree in aviation mechanics from Spokane Community College in 1997. He moved to Everett in 1999 and worked for BF Goodrich for two years. He then taught at the Everett Community College from January 2001 and until last month. Survivors include his wife, Naomi; a son, Jeff Foote of Stanwood; and a brother, Larry Foote of Priest River. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Museum of Flight in Seattle.
